"The All-in Tournament Organizer and Timer consists of a poker timer and an erasable white board where you can write your blinds, antes, tournament notes, and final places. The box includes the timer, an erasable pen, an eraser, two buttons, and one page of written instructions. This is a timer and whiteboard only, it will not assist you in seating or moving players or any other tournament functions.

The All-in Timer is about the size of a notebook computer but weighs much less. It is 10" tall, 11" wide, and 1 1/4 " deep. It can stand upright on it's own but there is a fold-out arm on the back cover to keep it completely stable. There is also a hole in the back cover so that you can easily hang it on a wall. It seems well constructed and is not flimsy, but like the Poker Genie, I would not recommend dropping it on the floor too often. The All-in Timer requires two AA batteries, which are not included. I'm still waiting for my batteries that I used to expire so I do not yet know how long the batteries should last. There is a one-page instruction manual that includes basic instructions how to operate the unit and how to play Texas Holdem.

The timer works as a simple count-down timer. You set the minutes and seconds and then start the timer. You can pause the timer by pressing the Start-Stop button. There are no other timer functions. The numbers are fairly large at 1.5 inches. The numbers are black in color and the background is grey/green in color. There is just barely enough contrast to see the numbers clearly. The LCD screen is larger than the LED numbers of The Poker Genie but is a bit harder to view. Unlike the Poker Genie, The All-in Timer needs to be well lit to be seen from a distance.

The timer keeps beeping for 20 seconds and then resets the timer to your previously entered time. You must then press a button to restart the timer. The timer will not beep and then automatically begin the timer for the next level - you must press a button. There is also a warning beep at the five minute mark and another beep at the three minute mark.

You write your blinds on the board using the pen/marker that is provided. You don't really need the eraser because the ink comes off very easily with your fingers or a cloth. There is space to write in up to ten blinds levels. You can write your poker chip denominations on the bottom of the board. There are spots for white, red, blue, green, and black colored poker chips. There is an area to write information about any high hand, bad beat, or bounty awards, and tournament notes. There is also an area to write the ante, but you could probably also include it with each blinds level.

Overall

The All-in Tournament Organizer & Timer works well as a simple timer that you can hang on a wall or stand at one end of your poker table. It would be perfect to use in a bar or saloon where you could keep it stored away until you need it for your poker tournament. You can write your blinds and chip values on the erasable board so the All-in Timer is all you would really need. It's handy for traveling too. It's light, doesn't need a power supply and is sturdy enough to carry on it's own, without a box."
